We're building the future of farming by making advanced agricultural technology accessible to smallholder farmers worldwide, starting with our pilot programs in Poland and Zimbabwe.
PreciAgro was founded in 2023 by Tinotenda Nyashanu and Tafadzwa Madzikanda, two passionate technologists who saw a critical gap: while precision agriculture technologies were advancing, they remained out of reach for the smallholder farmers who needed them most.
With backgrounds in computer engineering and AI/ML development, our founders understood both the technical possibilities of intelligent farming systems and the day-to-day realities of agriculture. Their mission was clear to democratize access to AI-powered farming insights, making advanced tools simple, affordable, and useful for every farmer.
Today, PreciAgro is preparing to launch its first pilot programs. Our team is working closely with early partners and farmers across Africa and Europe to validate the approach, refine the tools, and ensure that our solutions deliver real value in the field.
Our mission remains unchanged: to empower every farmer with the intelligence they need to thrive improving yields, reducing costs, and building a more sustainable future for agriculture worldwide.

PreciAgro was founded on a bold vision: to give every farmer, from smallholders to commercial producers, an intelligent partner that makes farming smarter, simpler, and more profitable.
We saw the struggles farmers face daily β unpredictable weather, rising input costs, labor shortages, and the uncertainty of when and how to plant. PreciAgro was born to bridge that gap, turning advanced artificial intelligence into practical farming support.
We began by designing a system that doesn't just collect data but actually thinks and reasons. Our focus was to combine weather insights, soil and climate data, and farm records into one intelligent assistant.
Our first modules went live:
Weather and market data integration
Seasonal calendars that adapt to local conditions
Simply ask and receive farming advice
Tools for seeds, fertilizers, and equipment
We are now building the next wave: AI that can predict yields, recommend the best planting strategies, and diagnose crop issues directly from images. This marks the shift from reactive apps to a truly proactive farm companion.
Our vision doesn't stop at crops. PreciAgro will expand to livestock, precision irrigation, drones, and marketplace tools that connect farmers to buyers and suppliers. Ultimately, we aim to build a unified digital farm brain adapting to every region, every crop, and every farmer.
Through each stage, one principle guides us: technology should support farmers, not replace them. PreciAgro is not just an app it is a partner for the future of farming.
The principles that guide everything we do
Every solution we build prioritizes long-term environmental health and sustainable farming practices.
We design our technology with farmers at the center, ensuring it's practical, accessible, and truly beneficial.
We leverage cutting-edge technology to solve age-old agricultural challenges in new and better ways.
Our recommendations are backed by scientific research and real-world data from our pilot programs.
We're building solutions that can scale globally while respecting local farming traditions and practices.
Advanced agricultural technology should be available to every farmer, regardless of farm size or location.
Whether you're a farmer interested in our pilot program, an investor looking to support agricultural innovation, or a partner wanting to collaborate, we'd love to hear from you.
