The Story
Founded on a simple, uncomfortable truth.
PreciAgro was founded in 2023 by Tinotenda Nyashanu and Tafadzwa Madzikanda — two computer engineers from Zimbabwe who saw precision agriculture transforming large farms while smallholder farmers continued making critical decisions with no data.
Not because they weren't capable. Not because they didn't want better outcomes. Because the tools were designed for someone else.
We started with a question: what if every farmer had the same intelligence layer that a 10,000-hectare operation has — but delivered via WhatsApp, in their language, in 30 seconds?
That question became PreciAgro.
